Our latest briefing provides an overview of the Employment Equality (Age) Regulations 2006 and in particular what organisations need to do in their recruitment, retention and retirement practices to meet the regulations. It also looks at some of the broader reasons why housing providers need to consider the needs of the older and younger population and the challenges they face. It looks at some of the approaches to service delivery and provision housing associations can take to support both older and young tenants, and includes case studies of the ways in which Housing Diversity Network members are meeting the needs of diverse tenant groups.
