Job Description

Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Finance and Benefits Manager

We’re looking for a confident and collaborative Finance and Benefits Manager to join our Finance Directorate, playing a key role in our ambitious transformation programme, Good to Great.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead how we identify, measure, and realise the benefits of change—helping ensure the work we do genuinely delivers value for our customers, colleagues, and communities. You’ll be part of a team that cares deeply about doing the right thing, working together, and making a real difference across Karbon.

About The Role

As our Finance and Benefits Manager, you’ll be part of cross functional project teams, creating an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and empowered to deliver their best work.

You’ll lead the development and delivery of a strong benefits framework—making sure benefits are clearly defined, owned, tracked, and achieved throughout the lifecycle of the Good to Great Programme. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, programme teams, and benefit owners to ensure both cashable and noncashable benefits are realistic, measurable, and aligned to organisational priorities.

You’ll also be a key member of the Finance Leadership and Management Team, acting as a positive role model for our values, encouraging collaboration, and helping embed a culture of accountability, learning, and service excellence.

This is a leadership role with real influence, where your expertise will help shape decisionmaking, assurance, and longterm value for Karbon.

About You

You’re a strategic thinker with a strong background in finance and benefits management, and you’re comfortable working in complex, fastpaced environments.

You’ll bring experience of leading benefits realisation across programmes or major change initiatives, with the confidence to challenge assumptions, analyse data, and provide clear, insightful reporting. You enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders and have a collaborative approach that helps bring people with you.

You’ll also:

  • Have a recognised professional qualification in accounting or financial services (or equivalent experience)
  • Be experienced in managing financial and nonfinancial benefits within robust governance frameworks
  • Be confident leading and influencing others, with a coaching style that supports development
  • Care about doing things properly, ethically, and inclusively
  • Share our commitment to diversity, innovation, and continuous improvement

Most importantly, you’ll believe in what we’re trying to achieve at Karbon—and want to play a part in making it happen.

    Working With Us

You’ll be part of our Finance team, led by Julie Clarke, Group Director Finance. If you’d like to know more about the role, feel free to reach out to Julie on 07580 739441 or at julie.clarke@karbonhomes.co.uk.
