The Prevention Alliance is a partnership of five local not‑for‑profit organisations – Age UK Stockport, Jigsaw Support, Nacro, Stockport Homes and Talk Listen Change – working together to deliver the Stockport Support Hub and Your Support on behalf of Stockport Council.
We are looking for a dedicated Keyworker to join our Skylight Team and play a vital role in supporting residents across Stockport.

About the Role
As a Keyworker, you’ll be a single, trusted point of contact for people who may be facing challenges with housing, finances, wellbeing, or access to support. Using a person‑led, strengths‑based approach, you’ll:
Provide tailored information, advice and one‑to‑one support
Help people identify their strengths and build confidence
Work creatively to achieve sustainable, long‑term outcomes
Build trusted relationships and informal support networks
Act as a lead professional, coordinating support across services
Identify risks and respond to safeguarding concerns
Empower people to become more resilient and independent

About You
You’ll bring experience of working with vulnerable people and a genuine commitment to person‑centred support. You’ll be confident, resilient, and motivated by helping others succeed.
You’ll also have:
Experience using a strength‑based, person‑led approach
The ability to engage people, even in challenging situations
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload
Confidence working independently in homes and community settings
Good IT, communication, and record‑keeping skills
A collaborative mindset and willingness to work in partnership
