Carla is a valuable member of the HDN family, having joined in 2012. With over 20 years of experience in customer service and administration roles, Carla currently handles administration, finance, and business management. She is passionate about social and economic justice and strives to make a positive change for people and communities. Carla finds fulfilment in being part of an amazing team and contributing towards creating a better society, one step at a time. Carla’s strong belief in social and economic justice for all, has inspired her to pursue a career that contributes towards making a positive change for people and communities. Her favourite thing at HDN is being part of a fantastic team and having the opportunity to contribute to making a difference in society one step at a time!

Josh is HDN’s Research and Policy Lead- at HDN he designs, carries out and evaluates research on issues relating to EDI in the sector, leads on our Diversity Network Accreditation, and also curates our popular webinar programme. Josh joined HDN in 2021 after completing his masters degree at the University of Leeds- he has a keen interest in human rights and inclusion, having engaged both academically and professionally with issues relating to women’s, LGBTQ+, refugee/migrant and ethnic/religious minority rights and equality.

Ruth is the Mentoring Programmes Coordinator and delivers the Staff Mentoring Programe. She has over 15 years experience in personal development and lifelong learning projects and volunteer management. She is passionate about individuals and their potential, and loves to encourage others to learn and grow.

Andy is the Membership Services Coordinator and the first point of contact for queries and feedback from members. You can usually find her travelling up and down the country visiting members and ensuring they're making the most out of their membership. Andy is passionate about immersing herself in new cultures and getting to know people from all walks of life. She has been a globetrotter all her life, having lived in numerous countries and learned various languages to better engage with the people she meets. After a decade in the translation industry, she decided to join HDN in order to better equip herself to bring about positive change through her love of diversity.

Whether it's through social media, email campaigns, or in-person events, Michael is always looking for ways to reach out to our members. With experience in marketing, branding, and communication strategies, Michael is passionate about helping individuals and organisations build stronger communities and drive social change.

Events and Engagement Coordinator

Becki works as the Events and Engagement Coordinator for HDN. You will see her creating meaningful experiences that connect people, strengthen knowledge and organisational goals, as well as allow people to create inclusive and community/colleague focused learning that can be shared with others. With a keen eye for detail, social justice and a passion for collaboration Becki plans our colleague and Board workshop programme, organises Study visits as well as oversees the South West Diversity Group and Muslim Women's Network. Becki comes to us from a large housing association in the South West and has a CIPD level 5 in Human Resource Management as well as a Level 5 in Leadership and Management. Having previously trained as a teacher, she decided that this pathway was not for her but now uses this passion for learning to seek out the best speakers and passionate leaders for our sessions and annual conferences. She lives on the West coast of Wales and enjoys time on her hobby farm or baking with her 3 daughters when not working.

Pritesh Tambe works as the Data and Support Officer at Housing Diversity Network, where he supports the team with reporting, data quality and day-to-day systems tasks that help HDN deliver EDI support across the housing sector. His focus is on keeping data and processes clear, accurate and easy to use, enabling the team to spend less time chasing information and more time supporting members. He brings experience from public sector reporting and healthcare systems support, and holds an MSc in Data Science & Analytics from the University of Leeds.

Chloe manages the training and consultancy services for HDN - she will help you scope out what your organisation would benefit from, identify who from our network of associates would be best to support you, and enjoys getting stuck into some of the projects and training herself. She is often out and about - meeting with members, at conferences and EDI-related events, and seeking out new learning opportunities to inform her work. After a very varied pre-housing career (including roles in finance, non-profit, high-end retail, event management and project management), Chloe wanted to leave the private sector and do something more connected with making a positive change. Chloe started her housing sector journey in transformation project management, then took the opportunity to join HDN in 2022. She is passionate about everyone having a fair chance to thrive in life and dismantling systems of oppression that prevent it.

Mushtaq is keen on helping organisations become more inclusive and thriving businesses. He works with boards and leadership teams to develop and attain their ambitions and leads on our activity to develop a new generation of board members. Mushtaq has worked for several housing and regeneration organisations throughout his career, as well as running his own consultancy business. He has also worked at a senior and strategic level in local authorities for the over fifteen years, including working for large metropolitan councils such as Oldham, Trafford and Lambeth.
