Session 1: Driving Diversity and Inclusion - The Role of Boards

What is this session?

  • This session is an interactive workshop for Boards about the their role and the impact it has in driving diversity and inclusion within the organisation.

Who runs the workshop?

  • The workshop facilitators are Mushtaq Khan, the CEO of HDN, and Sharon Thandi/Gemma Bell from Devonshires.

Why take this workshop?

  • Boards play a pivotal role in setting the tone and guiding the strategic direction of an organisation when it comes to EDI. This session explores the Board role and responsibility in relation to EDI and how it can strengthen its commitment to EDI through better governance.

Session 2: Inclusive Governance 2026: What Good Looks Like Now

Planning board training for 2026?

Get your board ready for a new era of governance. Our Inclusive Governance 2026 session is designed for board members and senior leaders who want to move beyond compliance and embrace what effective, accountable and inclusive governance looks like today.

Run in conjunction with our partners Devonshires, this thought-provoking session explores emerging regulatory expectations, the skills boards will need to lead with confidence, and the practical steps to strengthen culture, decision-making and equality at the highest level. Whether you’re refreshing your board’s approach or preparing for the challenges ahead, this is your opportunity to future-proof your governance and ensure your organisation is ready for the coming year and beyond.

This is our second board training module and is a follow up to our hugely successful Driving Diversity and Inclusion board session. We now offer boards the choice of which session they want us to run. We will tailor this session to your board and typically we will look at:
