We are looking for a highly motivated ICT Service Desk Manager to join our award-winning organisation and support us to continue to achieve our ambitions and build on our achievements to date.  We are recognised within our sector as an innovative organisation who continually challenges itself to think differently.  From overhauling our whole ICT infrastructure, implementing a cloud-based CRM system, and automating our repairs service with our pioneering Chatbot, we have successfully transformed our housing services for a new era. We need someone who is experienced and talented to help us to continue to deliver an excellent user experience for our colleagues and our customers. This is a great opportunity for the right person to play a big part of our continued development and success.

The role - What I’ll be doing

  • Responsible for the delivery of an efficient and effective ICT Service Desk
  • Liaison with internal customers and external third parties
  • Supporting procurement of new suppliers
  • Line management of System Support Analysts and Service Desk Advisors
  • Maintenance of asset and application registers and documentation for ICT Service.

    What we’re looking for

  • Experience of resolving problems at Tier 2 and above
  • Knowledge of data protection legislation and how it applies to ICT, including cyber security.
  • Experience of all/some of the following: Azure AD Connect, Conditional access, Microsoft stacks and related technologies.
  • Experience of working within a Cloud or Hybrid environment providing technical support.
  • Experience of liaising with third parties to effectively resolve ICT issues.
  • Good business awareness
  • Previous line management experience desirable.
