Orwell are currently looking for a motivated, finance professional, to bring talent, skills and experience to enhance our collaborative and ambitious Board.

Orwell’s Board plays a vital part in setting our overall strategic direction, working closely with our leadership team to ensure that organisational performance is managed effectively. 

Do you believe that you can add value through your diverse outlook, with the ability to think strategically and help us deliver on our objectives to make Orwell, and our communities, great places to be? Are you passionate about ensuring the customer voice is heard and considered in decision making and organisational outcomes to make a positive difference to the communities in which we work? 

We are recruiting for:

• A Finance Board Member – with senior experience in banking, investment, housing or corporate finance

With:

• Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial governance and risk


• The ability to interrogate financial performance, forecasts, and value-for-money


• Previous Board experience


• The ability to attend in person meetings and events in line with the Board meeting cycle

If you have recent and relevant financial experience proportionate to the size and complexity of Orwell, and prior Board experience, we are particularly interested in hearing from you.
