Orwell Housing Association provides homes for over 7,500 residents throughout Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Cambridge.

We are looking for a considerate and conscientious individual to join our in-house painting team, to provide a cyclical painting service for all properties owned by Orwell and for properties identified in

Orwell Painting Contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
Our Painter’s key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out internal and external decorating within agreed timescales and in accordance with Orwell’s property service standards.
* Ensure that the working area is cleared of any debris/materials once the work has been completed
* Be responsible for keeping chemical and paint storage facilities tidy, and locked. Assisting with maintaining stock levels and organising storage areas.
* To carry out all minor pre-painting repairs.

About you:
* Previous experience of working in a customer facing environment.
* At least 5 years painting experience.
* General carpentry experience.
* Experience of working with people and providing customer orientated services.

Person Specification…
* NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent, is desirable

Due to the nature of this role a full UK Driving Licence is required.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.  All new arrivals to the UK must also provide a Statement of Good Conduct (SOGC).
