Assistant Management Accountant – Ipswich/ Hybrid
Salary: £24,150 per year
Hours: 37 hours per week; Fixed term until May 31st 2024
Shifts: Monday – Friday

The Role
The purpose of this post is to assist with the provision of timely and accurate management information, to allow informed business decisions to be made.

The post will support the team with production of management accounts, forecasting and budgeting and have responsibility for other delegated tasks as required.

The role will require communication, often with non-finance staff, to ensure that consistently high standards of service are delivered.

Key Responsibilities:
Our Assistant Management Accounts key responsibilities are as follows:
* Provide support to the budget managers in understanding and managing their budget.
* Maintain and control specified accruals and prepayments schedules as allocated.
* Assistance in year-end for statutory accounts.
* Assist in monthly reconciliations for reassurance in the management accounts.
* Assist in the production of monthly management accounts to month end deadlines.
* Provide timely responses to queries raised in relation to management accounts

Person Specifications…
* GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths and English Language is essential.
* Working towards or willingness to work towards AAT qualification is essential unless an equivalent qualification has been obtained or qualified by experience.
