We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join our established team. The successful candidates will support our existing Anti Social Behaviour Team to prevent crime and anti-social behaviour in our communities whilst being supported to achieve a formal qualification. Once a foundation of knowledge and skills have been developed there will be the opportunity to progress to more complex cases.

What do our Trainee Anti-Social Behaviour Officer’s do;

  • To provide an opportunity for personal and professional development and contribute to the implementation of intervention policies designed to prevent crime, anti-social behaviour and the fear of crime for customers in the Group’s key areas.

  • To shadow and work closely with Anti-Social Behaviour Officer on actions to reduce crime and disorder in the Groups’ key areas by direct contact and develop links with key partners and outside agencies.

  • Manage own case load of lower level cases of anti-social behaviour

  • To promote high quality, customer focused housing and community safety services that are delivered efficiently, risk based, consistently, proactively and cost effectively.


What we are looking for;

  • Good standard of education with minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or above including Maths and English

  • Experience of working in a team

  • Customer focused and a desire to provide services to a high standard

  • An ability to work under pressure

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional manner


In order to fulfil the requirements of the role candidates will require a full valid driving licence and be willing to travel across the north west.
