We are recruiting for an efficient and organised manager to cover the planning, and systems post for a period of 4 months to cover an internal secondment. This great opportunity for those looking to take the next step in their career or those looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced operational front-line service. We are looking for someone who will always have our customers at the heart of everything they do, is highly organised, who can manage a number of competing tasks.

The role is within our Repairs Team who provide reactive repairs across Salford and some areas of Greater Manchester. You will have direct responsibility for the planning, admin and systems functions and working closely with key stakeholders across the business. The role will be working on a rota basis covering shift patterns from 8am to 7pm and Saturdays providing manager support. The late shifts and Saturday shifts will be approximately 1 every six weeks with a day off in Lieu for the week when working a Saturday.

What we’re looking for
This role would suit someone who has excellent written and verbal skills, takes pride in their work and is passionate about customer service. Experience working within a housing association repairs team previously is not necessary but would be a desirable quality. We need someone who can remain empathetic and professional no matter what circumstances they are faced with.

You should have experience working within a customer-facing role, and being experienced in planning work would be beneficial.

As every day is different you should be able to manage your workload independently and effectively and be happy to meet changing demands and priorities on a regular basis.

You should have excellent ICT skills and be able to work with a wide range of programmes including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of AccuServ would also be desirable.
