Environmental Manager (Impact & Sustainability) £43k - £46k + professional development + agile working + excellent benefits Lancashire, North West England Progress your career with a real environmental purpose We are inviting you to take a seat within a newly created Environmental Manager role. You will lead on the implementation of a group wide approach to manage, measure and improve our environmental impacts, reporting regularly on our progress. You will be our environmental champion for the Group, working with colleagues to embed roles and responsibilities and to ensure that we are on track to achieve net-zero carbon by 2050. You might describe yourself as a subject matter expert in environmental impact projects and carbon legislation which we would welcome in our team. Ideally, you will hold a HND in environmental management or equivalent qualifications in your specialism but if you don’t, we are committed to supporting your professional development. If you are comfortable with management systems, gathering and using data to identify trends and variances to report back to stakeholders and like what you are reading, please reach out to us. Registered provider or similar sector experience is beneficial but your behaviours are much more important to us. You will enjoy educating and working with the wider business and key stakeholders about the broader climate change agenda and take great pride in your work, acting as an ambassador for the group.
