Reporting to the Director of Business Development London you will manage the delivery of major projects (+400 units) engaging in all aspects of land, development and construction project management, from the plot drawdown, procurement, construction and completion. As an experienced senior development manager, you will undertake the project management role on a major project(s) – whether internally built or externally contracted, as well as taking strategic decisions and providing the necessary leadership and direction for internal teams across the department. This position requires a manager who is able to demonstrate excellence in customer service, whilst remaining financially and commercially astute, coupled with identifying and exercising control of development risks. You will be highly organised with excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to develop logical thinking and influence internal and external stakeholders. The project teams that you lead will include senior staff from across L&Q. Your ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in L&Q and other organisations will be critical to success. You will be an effective senior professional who can demonstrate outstanding project and commercial management skills. It is essential you have attained the professional qualification of MRICS/and or MCIOB, or other project management qualifications, and have experience within the Housing or Building sector environment, preferably in managing large and complex residential schemes. As a member of the Development Team, you will participate and contribute fully in steering the wider business to achieve its objectives.
