GLEBE HOUSING ASSOCATION ARE NOW SEEKING NEW BOARD MEMBERS

Glebe Housing Association is a community based housing association providing quality, affordable rented and leasehold accommodation for older people in West Wickham Kent. Our residents find it easy to approach us as our passionate staff team are based on site which enables us to hear our resident voice and continuously improve our services.

A key part of our success is the leadership, insight and governance provided by the board. Following a recent skills audit and the development of a board succession plan, we are seeking to appoint up to four new board members to further strengthen our governance and strategic capability.

We are particularly interested in individuals who share our passion to support and sustain a thriving community, helping people to live independently in their later years and can bring expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Development & Asset
• Legal & Regulatory
• Finance & Treasury
• Voluntary & Community Engagement

Glebe is small but joining our board is an opportunity for professionals who have ‘big’ organisation experience to share their knowledge, or for individuals to stretch themselves beyond their day job, develop new skills and broaden their network. We welcome diversity of thought and different perspectives and value consensus-based decision making.
