Stockport Homes is committed to delivering excellent services to our Leasehold, Shared Ownership, and Freehold customers, ensuring that our estates are well-managed, safe, and compliant. The Home Ownership Team plays a vital role in supporting residents through key milestones such Staircasing, Resales, and the Right to Buy/Acquire process, while also upholding lease obligations and delivering high-quality Estate Management.

As a Home Ownership Officer, you will support the operational delivery of Home Ownership services, acting as a key point of contact for homeowners. You’ll manage a varied property portfolio, respond to complex leasehold queries and complaints, and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure our estates are maintained to a high standard. You’ll also support the preparation and reconciliation of service charge budgets, ensuring customers receive clear and accurate information.

The role involves guiding customers through the Right to Buy/Acquire process, carrying out checks, obtaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with legislation. You’ll also conduct estate inspections, address low-level anti-social behaviour, and help ensure that lease conditions are met.

We’re looking for a team player with a positive, flexible approach and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are essential. While experience in Home Ownership is desirable, it’s not essential, we value enthusiasm, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively to get things done.
