Social value measures the wider impact our activities and investments have on the wellbeing of our communities. It goes beyond the cash value and looks at the benefits our support brings to our customers' lives.

This is an exciting area to work and we are looking to build on the fantastic work already being done by adding a Social Value Connector to the team.

About the role

You’ll be a key part of a small, busy team, partnering with the supply chain and community teams to translate social value commitments into tangible benefits for our customers and communities.

Working hand-in-hand with the Social Value Lead, you’ll drive social impact from bid stage through to contract delivery ensuring we demonstrate impact through effective tracking, measuring and reporting.

The role is varied, some days might be spent supporting suppliers with their social value delivery, meeting community partners to identify how social value can support them, and other days could be spent at events like school career fairs showcasing Karbon alongside our supply chain.

About you

We’re looking for a natural collaborator who can engage with internal colleagues, suppliers and community groups alike to support our social value journey.

If you are a great communicator with good planning and organisational skills who is good with Microsoft Office, you are a great fit for this role and we would love to hear from you.

About our team

The successful candidate will work in our Community Investment team led by the Community Investment Team Manager Paul Moralee. The successful candidate will work closely with our Social Value Lead Jessica Alexander working at various locations throughout Karbon Homes footprint to deliver social value.

- Social Value Connector – 2 year fixed term role
- Salary is £28,696 per annum
- Location: Our Greengates office at Stanley, County Durham – On site across the Karbon footprint
- Regular travel will be required
- 37 Hours per week
