About the role

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Roaming role – travel across Tewkesbury, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Birmingham, Daventry, the Cotswolds, and surrounding areas

 

We are looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our Adaptation Team and help us deliver homes that empower our customers to live independently, confidently, and with dignity. You will play a key role in shaping how we respond to adaptation needs, working closely with colleagues, local authorities, and external partners to ensure we offer tailored, accessible housing solutions.

This is a roaming role, requiring travel across our geographical footprint, from Tewkesbury up through Staffordshire, Shropshire, Birmingham, Daventry, and the Cotswolds. You’ll complete 2–3 customer property assessments per week, with the rest of your time spent working flexibly between home and our offices.

Due to the travel required for this role, we offer either a company car or a cash allowance alternative, ensuring you have the flexibility and support needed to carry out your responsibilities effectively.

What we're looking for

  • A qualified and registered Occupational Therapist (Dip COT, BSc Honours OT or equivalent)

  • Experience working in housing or a related role, particularly around adaptations and complex case management.

  • A proactive, collaborative professional who can build strong relationships across health, housing, and social care sectors.

  • Someone who shares our purpose and values – helping people thrive by delivering high-quality, person-centred services.






Additional Requirements

  • You must hold a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

  • A full UK driving licence

  • You must be able to complete a DBS Enhanced and Adult Barred List Check
