We have a fantastic opportunity for a customer and delivery focussed manager to lead our Leasehold and Housing Contracts Team. The Leasehold Services Manager will play an important role in shaping the service to ensure it is efficient and cost effective.

The main purpose of the role is to manage and effectively lead a customer focused leasehold team whilst leading on the management of housing contracts whilst working collaboratively with other stakeholders.

The role - What I’ll be doing

• Providing strategic leadership and expertise on commercial and residential leasing, shared ownership, right to buys and other key services.


• Ensuring the leasehold function is compliant with regulatory standards, relevant housing legislation and best practice policies and procedures.


• Reviewing leasehold policies, procedures and contracts to ensure an efficient and cost-effective service.


• Managing a diverse customer focused team who deliver everything from administration to income.


• Monitoring and controlling budgets, plus financial forecasting


• Liaising with a number of parties and stakeholders such as solicitors, local authorities, customers, colleagues and contractors

What we’re looking for

• Somebody who has knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements for areas including leaseholder service charges, commercial leasing, right to buys and shared ownership including preparation of legal documents.


• A manager who has the ability to motivate, inspire and build a team to achieve results and meet challenging targets.


• An individual who is capable of developing efficient strategies to lead within a busy, demanding department.


• An expert communicator both verbally and in writing with the ability to read, interpret, apply and explain Lease documents effectively.
