Job Description
Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Plasterer

We’re looking for an experienced Plasterer / Damp Proofer to join our newly formed Damp and Mould Team, working across our properties in the North East

About the role
This is a great opportunity to be part of our growing Property Services Team, where you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance. Your work will directly support our commitment to putting customers first and continuously improving the services we provide.

About you
You’ll need to demonstrate a high level of skill across all aspects of plastering — from minor repairs to large-scale works — with excellent attention to detail in a variety of settings, including occupied, void, domestic, and non-domestic properties. You’ll have completed a recognised plastering apprenticeship or have equivalent experience, and be confident in:

• Boarding and skimming
• Dot and dabbing
• Rendering
• Damp proof course injection and hacking off
• Tanking membrane
• Applying waterproof coatings
• Knowledge of damp and mould

Experience in other trades such as brickwork, paving, or tiling is a bonus. You’ll be comfortable working independently or as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and health and safety.

A full UK driving license is essential
