Leadership programmes and Board Training

To build an inclusive workplace, culture, and service offering, it is essential that those leading an organisation place the high level of importance on EDI that it deserves. Board members, executives, directors, and anyone with line management duties all have a responsibility to model inclusive behaviour and demonstrably value the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion.

It can be difficult to know where to start, and hard to have open conversations about sensitive issues when you are worried about saying the wrong thing. We offer programmes and training designed to support managers, leaders, and board members to better understand EDI, the importance of it to their organisation, and their role when it comes to embedding the principles into their organisation.

Leadership Development Programme for First-time Line Managers

This programme has been designed for those who have recently, or are about to become line managers for what may be the first time, to help ensure they are well-equipped to thrive in their new roles.

Coaching Skills for Managers

HDN’s Coaching Skills for Managers programme can help you effectively embed a coaching culture into your organisation by equipping those with line management responsibility with practical tools to support their teams in a positive, constructive way.

EDI training for Boards

A four-part workshop series for Boards looking to better understand what equity, diversity and inclusion means to their organisation, and what their role is in cultivating an inclusive, equitable workplace that delivers excellent service to its tenants.

Introduction to Anti-Racism for Boards and Senior Leaders

This half or full-day workshop provides boards and senior leaders with space away from the organisation, to build their understanding of racism on individual and institutional levels, and how to move from passivity to active anti-racism in both.
